Serving US & Canada. Canadian customers: same three plans, same unlimited inbound calls, invoiced in CAD at the equivalent tier (contact for current rate). No per-minute billing, no minimum term.
Unlimited Calls. No Per-Minute. Fair Use, Explained Honestly.
Most answering services bill by the minute - typically $1 to $3 per minute - which means your bill spikes exactly when your business is busiest: heatwaves, cold snaps, and holiday weekends. Per-call credit plans do the same thing with extra steps. We think that is backwards.
Agent+ charges one flat monthly rate. A 45-minute complaint call from a property manager costs you the same as a 30-second booking. Your inbound call volume never changes your invoice.
The honest fine print: "unlimited" is subject to fair use. There is a soft monthly ceiling on total minutes, set high enough that no normal HVAC shop can reach it - it exists to stop one customer from consuming shared telephony capacity. In practice, the point where you would brush against fair use is the same point where you need more concurrent calls or locations, and that is a plan upgrade, not an overage bill.
What Actually Drives Your Price
Call volume is not on this list. Three things move the number:
- Concurrency - how many callers you can serve at the same instant. A one-truck shop answering 3 rings at once needs Starter; a shop whose phones ring off the hook in July needs 5-10+ live conversations.
- Locations and numbers - each branch phone number, territory routing rule, and per-location script adds scope. Multi-location and franchise rollouts land on Premium.
- Integration depth - Google Calendar is quick; ServiceTitan and Jobber write-back with custom automations takes real configuration; custom APIs and a guarded emergency playbook are Premium work.
Agent+ vs The Alternatives
| Option | Typical monthly cost | Coverage | Books into your CRM |
|---|---|---|---|
| Agent+ (Starter → Premium) | $297 - $997 flat | 24/7/365, answers instantly | Yes - ServiceTitan / Jobber / HCP |
| Human answering service | $400 - $1,200+ (per-minute driven) | 24/7, hold times vary | Rarely - message taking mostly |
| In-house dispatcher | $2,800 - $4,000+ (salary + benefits) | Business hours; OT for nights | Yes, if trained and staffed |
| Voicemail | $0 | Never answers | No - most callers don't leave messages |

The Honest Answer on "Free AI Receptionist"
You can find free AI receptionist trials - usually a limited-credit chatbot with a phone number attached, no CRM write-back, and no emergency logic. It is fine for answering "what are your hours?" It will not triage a no-heat call at 2 a.m., check your techs' real availability, and book the job into ServiceTitan.
There is also no free way to run 24/7 telephony, monitoring, and support reliably - the infrastructure costs somebody money. We would rather charge a flat rate you can predict than give you "free" and bill you for it in per-minute credits later.
The Math That Actually Matters
The average HVAC repair ticket runs $150-$650, and emergency after-hours jobs run higher. If the agent books even two extra jobs a month that would have gone to voicemail - roughly one per billing period pays for a Starter plan. Every job after that is the margin you were already losing to a missed ring.

Pricing FAQ
Are inbound calls really unlimited?
Yes. Every Agent+ plan includes unlimited inbound calls for normal business use. A fair-use ceiling exists so one customer cannot consume shared capacity, but it is calibrated so you cannot realistically reach it without outgrowing your plan's concurrent-call and location limits - which is an upgrade, not a bill.
What does the one-time setup fee cover?
Setup ($299 Starter, $599 Professional, $899 Premium, reduced 40% from our previous rates) covers CRM connection and write-back testing, call-flow and emergency-triage configuration, brand-voice setup, and a supervised pilot before full go-live. It is a one-time fee - we waive it on annual prepay.
How much does an AI answering service for HVAC cost?
Agent+ plans run $297, $497, or $997 per month plus a one-time setup fee. That replaces per-minute billing (typically $1-$3 per minute with human services) and per-call credits - your bill is the same whether you get 300 calls in a slow month or 3,000 during a heatwave.
Are there contracts or hidden fees?
No. All plans are month-to-month with 30 days notice to cancel. There are no per-minute charges, no overage fees, no per-call credits, and no mandatory add-ons. Your data and call history export with you if you leave.
What if the agent doesn't book jobs for us?
Every plan carries our guarantee: if we don't book at least 5 qualified appointments in your first 60 days, we refund your entire setup fee and keep working until we hit it.
